Before you book, message the host and ask whether the court is yours alone for the stay or shared with neighbours or an estate, and what state the surface and net are in. It is also worth asking whether racquets and balls are provided, so you know what to pack.
How we chose: we searched every continent for Airbnbs with a tennis court, kept only whole homes rated 4.85 or higher whose photos show the tennis court, and picked the ten we would most like to stay in, at a range of prices. Nobody paid to be on this list.
