Before you book
Before you book, ask the host which bedroom the bath is in, and whether it is big enough for two. It is also worth asking how much hot water the house holds, because a deep tub can empty a small tank before it is full.
How we chose: we searched every continent for Airbnbs with a freestanding bathtub, kept only whole homes rated 4.85 or higher whose photos show the stand alone bathtub, and picked the ten we would most like to stay in, at a range of prices. Nobody paid to be on this list.
