Before you book
Before you book, message the host and ask three things: is the piano acoustic or digital, when was it last tuned, and are guests allowed to play it at any hour. Hosts who mention the make of their piano usually look after it, but a quick message costs nothing and saves a disappointing first evening.
How we chose: we searched every continent for Airbnbs with a piano, kept only whole homes rated 4.85 or higher whose photos show the piano, and picked the ten we would most like to stay in, at a range of prices. Nobody paid to be on this list.
