Plenty of holiday homes have a barbecue, but very few have a real kitchen outside, with a counter, a sink and somewhere to cook. Airbnb has no outdoor kitchen filter in its menu, so we searched the hidden one and looked at every photo. These are the ten whole homes we would book first, from a Basque cliffside villa to a farmhouse among Japanese rice paddies.
Every home here is the whole place, not a room. Prices are the full Airbnb total for 7 nights, 6 March 2027 to 13 March 2027, for 2 guests, including fees and taxes, checked on 25 October 2026. They change daily, so open the listing for today's price.

Before you book
Before you book, ask the host what the outdoor kitchen actually has: a sink with running water, a hob or just a grill, and whether gas or charcoal is supplied. In cooler months it is also worth asking whether it is covered and usable in the rain.
How we chose: we searched every continent for Airbnbs with an outdoor kitchen, kept only whole homes rated 4.85 or higher whose photos show the outdoor kitchen, and picked the ten we would most like to stay in, at a range of prices. Nobody paid to be on this list.
