Airbnb has no board games filter in its menu, so we searched the hidden one and kept only homes where the games appear in the photos. These are the ten we would book for a week of long evenings, from a log cabin in the Norwegian mountains to an Art Deco penthouse in Casablanca.

Ski trails run right below the house into about 180 km of track, and there is a sledding hill on the plot. Inside it is all sheepskins, stone fireplaces, crystal chandeliers over the dining table and stone basins in the bathrooms.
The games: Monopoly, Ludo, Yahtzee and chess are on the shelves, and the long dining table is where the host shows a game of Monopoly in full swing.

Before you book, ask the host which games are in the house and whether any pieces are missing. If you have a favourite, check it is there, or pack it, since a game with half its cards gone is a sad thing to find on a rainy night.
How we chose: we searched every continent for Airbnbs with board games, kept only whole homes rated 4.85 or higher whose photos show the board games, and picked the ten we would most like to stay in, at a range of prices. Nobody paid to be on this list.
